California claims to lead the way in progressiveness - however, the opposite is true. The Golden State is actually a follower and "going down the tubes" along with the rest of The United States. The Great Power is on its "last legs" and they don't even "see it coming".
The State of California used to be one of the largest economies in the world all by itself, now it is becoming a "dump". The crooks, thieves, liars, and morons in the political leadership along with their "incestuous relationship" with "favored, friends of the politicians" businesses has tainted the state. They together have ruined the state economy with poor decision making and unwise micro-management, while at the same time taking advice from the wrong sources. The current governmental structure is a result of incompetence from the top, on down throughout the "ranks". Hey Nazi Arnie! This is real life, not "Holly-weird".
If the goal of California is to destroy itself - it is doing a wonderful job in a rapid manner. Maybe that is the goal all along ? Possibly to absorb The Golden State in a one world financial structure, because it is easier to exert control that way.
For example, the Governor takes advice from the "media-darling" Warren Buffet. Warren Buffet is a major player in the "conspirator" media realm and thus can use his influence to shape things as he desires. Let me tell you now, Warren buffet is Not a solution to fix the current "state of affairs" - he is part of the problem (How do you think Buffet got to where he is ?). As a representative of the elites, he doesn't want things to fixed. What the elites want is more (no, make that everything!). The goal of the elites is total dominance over the population and make them subject to their every whim.
A "snow job" is in effect here. Another tactic used is harassment of the common people and businesses that are not part of their "elite group". They hassle you to death with stupid over-regulation, "nitpicking", and never ceasing changing of "rules enforcement" at their whim. So, the average small business owner never knows "where they stand".
They wonder why, in the past decade, many businesses (both large & small) have left California permanently. I laugh at the stupid TV commercials I see about California. The "spot message" is come back to California. But, talk is cheap - actions "speak" a lot louder. California's government, bureaucrats, and "top, in-bed" businesses have created a confrontational, negative atmosphere to keep many away and still drive more out. It is in their best interests to "force small outside" companies to "go under".
No matter what anyone says about budget deficits, the real truth is there is plenty of money "going around". Deficits is used as an excuse by the political establishment to divert all money to their criminal "associates" - so there is none left over for anyone else, even for legitimate needs. A Recent example that reveals this, is the "manufactured" California state energy crisis. The State government was paying, at least 3 times the going rate for energy. The "rotten to the core" Enron Corporation was part of that debacle. Who do you think got the "kick-back" money from those shady deals, while the average Californian "took it on the chin" ?
America and California both have been running budget deficits for years, but now the "business friends and influentials" want a greater share of the pie. The "behind-the-scenes criminals" want more money for their publicly-funded "pet" projects (wars, new stadiums, etc.) with taxpayers "footing the bill". You know, the "prostitute politicians", with their disgusting underling bureaucrats, will sign-off on the "friendly financial give away" - but only in a "narrow direction" toward their "friends".
I cannot behave like this with my personal checking account, can I ? But, these thieves freely "toss aside friend" money, that is not theirs to give. The current system cannot be completely be fixed, it requires an utter destruction and rebuild "from the ground up".
All current and former politicians, bureaucrats, and government employees, at all levels, should face a firing squad for being compliant or willingly used to "screw the people".
The only difference between the government and the mob is - the government makes the "rules".
